Margie McLean, founder and Chief Executive Officer of QMACs, Inc. serves as a successful and distinguished leader in the medical billing industry. Demonstrated skill in practice management solutions, fiscal analysis/management, coding and billing guidelines and practices, HIPAA standards, hospital administration and Electronic Medical Records have made McLean a nationally recognized speaker and trainer in practice management areas. Under McLean’s leadership QMACs grew from a single client company in 1993 to a corporation serving in excess of 300 physicians.

A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, McLean was awarded a B.B.A. in Management. Certifications include Certified Professional Coder (Physician and Hospital- American Association of Professional Coders), National PMCC (Professional Medical Coding Curriculum) instructor, and certified Allscripts Electronic Medical Records trainer.

D. Michael McLean serves as the Chief Financial Officer, providing more than 20 years experience in financial, operational and management solutions applicable to the healthcare industry. Michael oversees the company’s financial strategy, corporate planning, treasury, tax, accounting and information technology systems.

He provides direct client contact regarding financial analysis, implications, projections and performance based on specific client needs and state and national policies. McLean’s vision for technology development and corporate infrastructure serves as a backbone for corporate development of ever changing technology client needs.

A graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, McLean holds a B.B.A with a major in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is affiliated with numerous state and national financial organizations. He is also an active participant in various national technology informational events.

Mary McLean Martin, Chief Operating Officer, provides a broad industry expertise in healthcare management, including oversight of the company’s claims processing, trend analysis, financial implications, corporate structure and design, systems development/ management and new client acquisition and monitoring.

Martin’s demonstrated conceptual abilities and proactive measures ensure client services are maintained at the highest level of integrity and efficiency. A graduate of the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Martin holds a M.S in Speech/Language Pathology with certification in Clinical Competence. She has been a participant in numerous HBMA (Healthcare Billing and Management Association) training sessions and serves as consultant to numerous surgical specialty groups.
